Yes I have seen many of those:

"Ken the reason 95% of people are failing"
"Ken what the Gurus do not want you to know"

All they are doing really is selling you their system to fix the "problem". In truth it does not address the root cause of the problem and so does not fix it, it only makes them money at your expense.

This is not the "first book" of a series with exhortations to buy the next one. I have said everything I have to say on this subject in the one book. If I do find new things to say in the future they will be on my blog and in my newsletter.

There are a few affiliate links that may be of interest to you because they are relevant to the topic at the time. Frankly I do not care if you follow them, none of them are a business that is going to pay me anything significant anyway. My aim is to arm you with useful knowledge not get you into any business or program that I am involved in. Indeed I have made a point of not including links in my book to businesses or programs that I am actively promoting.

Summary of contents
The book is over 100 pages (e-book style presentation) of valuable information in more than 30,000 words, and includes tables and examples from real life situations.

Chapter one starts with information about security and safety on your computer, not heavy technical stuff, but what you need to do to minimise risk. After over 12 years of heavy Internet use I have had no serious security or virus problems and this section tells you how I achieve that with minimal technical skills.

Later in the chapter there is an outline of the steps you should take to minimise the business risks with a lot of emphasis placed on the business basics of due diligence as they can be applied on the Internet.

Chapter two looks at the currently heavily promoted business models, mostly Network and Multilevel (MLM) Marketing, Matrix and Pyramids, and shows you how to identify those that are doomed to fail for the vast majority of people who join. Note this shows what is wrong with the system so that the knowledge gained can be applied to any past, present or future programs.

Later chapter two shows what could be done to make these programs into potential winners. I do this firstly to give you the knowledge you need to be able to identify the good possibilities and secondly to illustrate that I do know what I am talking about, I am not just firing shots to create an impression of knowledge and understanding.

Chapter three takes the next step and examines all the many off-shoots, variations and band-aid patches that have been applied to the flawed business models currently in use and shows why and how they fail to fix the problem. it also looks at some of the more outlandish claims that are used to promote such schemes.

Chapter four outlines more business basics and some of the business basic thinking that needs to be applied to your business and ideas. This chapter also helps you identify some alternatives you can pursue that have a real chance of success if you apply the business basics and business basic thinking. After all I have told you what does not work it is only fair that I show you what can work, as well as how and why it can work.

Chapter five details many other business opportunities available on the Internet showing you the good and the bad. It helps you to identify those that have some potential and arms you with the knowledge you need to avoid more disasters.

Chapter six investigates scams, scammers and high risk programs that may not be scams. Once again you will be armed with knowledge that will assist you in making better decisions when it comes to outlaying your hard earned cash and valuable time.
